What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?

    "Halloween" introduces its titles in a striking and understated way in its opening scenes. John Carpenter's eerie soundtrack plays as the opening credits roll over a blank screen. The credits are shown in plain white font, which stands out sharply against the background's blackness.

What images are prioritized in the opening sequences?

A little, abstract pumpkin gradually appears in the middle of the screen as the titles begin to roll. The depiction of the pumpkin is straightforward and cartoonish; it lacks detail. This pumpkin appears on the movie poster and is later used as a symbol in the movie.

How does the film establish a feeling of a genre from the outset?

Personally, I automatically had a sense of chills after watching the opening scene.
The soundtrack and visual narrative are used to create tension and express emotions in the opening sequence,
which has very little spoken conversation. This method of being silent heightens the tension and leaves room for the audience's imagination to fill in the details.

February 28 / 2024 Repeating again the speech taken from the last blog of the review done by my friend in which she stated the following: "I absolutely loved the title, Housekeeper, I just feel like it gave a suspenseful vibe like The Beekeeper. It was a type of one-word yet not a one-word title, and it made it very interesting. I also liked the slanted title design. However for the designs, instead of three, I wish it was two because I feel like the two bold choices, to use the simple bold with the more slanted one, and not the one all over the place. I liked the plot, it was pretty good. But you know, this is a high school film, and productions are not too perfect. Besides that, it's a really good film. It used a good amount of conventions.   Pitches Pitch A A housekeeper who cleans large houses for a living receives a call with specific instructions. Curious, she unlocks the closet and discovers a shrine, of herself. Pitch B A girl is streaming a challenge, but nothing happens she's called down, but she hears something in her closet, she approaches and then screams being pulled in. Pitch A Discussion After  receiving a phone referral, a middle-aged housekeeper specializing in cleaning mansions is assigned to take care of the other woman’s home. She is then given detailed instructions on what has to be cleaned and what shouldn’t be cleaned. The omniscient energy turns the housekeeper off as soon as she gets to the residence. The housekeeper can spy since the other woman isn’t home, and when she does, she finds an attic-like room with a shrine containing disturbingly real pictures of herself.
