Getting ready

Today was the first day of the start of taking the first shots of the video. I got home, took a shower, and ate. Then I threw on my pajamas for my first costume portraying that I was just waking up.

Process

I got in the bed sheets and began to film myself, with the help of my mom. My mom took 3 shots from different angles. I got out of the bed sheets and instead, I put pillows forming a human-like shape under the covers.

Purpose

My idea for the start of my video portrays me getting up from bed. These shots would be combined, to show me sleeping and then stretching out my arm to turn off my alarm.

How does my music help my purpose?

The start of my song directs an exciting, working rhythm as if hyping someone up. The volume gets higher as it begins to go on.

Music beats

The constant rhythm at the start keeps the feeling the same. The sudden hard beat that begins the actual singing starts it all.

Mistakes

My mom messed up many times on the shot because she didn't understand what I had in mind; So I did the shots myself. She would take it from the wrong angle. I got up and began to film my layout, it took me about 5 times to get each shot. The timing for one shot was not available, making me do the shot later.

Late/Missing details

Sadly, I missed the gym today, which I need to go to get the first gym shots. I will have to start tomorrow October 17, to begin the workout montage. For the alarm scene, I need to wake up before my alarm sounds to record myself turning it off.
